Hello everyone!

I was wondering, is there a subtitled version of the Paradise Kiss movie out somewhere? I'd love a link to watch it if anyone knows. ^^~

I went and saw the movie tonight and am pleased to say that it was wonderful! I had my expectations built up quite a bit after seeing the preview a gazillion times, but it was even better than I was expecting. I won't spoil anything by summarizing, but it diverges from the manga a lot--especially the ending (so if you hated the ending of the manga maybe you'll like the movie ending?) I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the acting! The only detractor for me was that it felt a bit rushed, but that's only to be expected. In my totally biased opinion, I would give it ★★★★½!

While I loved it, one of my friends who's also a big fan of the manga was slightly disappointed. The rest of the girls I went with really liked it, but they didn't know anything about the series other than from the preview. Either way 7/8 of us gave it the thumbs-up, so if you're not the sort that's bothered by the inevitable differences in an adaptation I would highly recommend seeing it! (Also, as expected, everyone in the theater was totally sobbing at the storage unit scene. XD)

I admittedly am very picky about Parakiss, but this is just all wrong! I wouldn't care about fashion details with anything else, but this works demands a certain something, y'know?

Yukari is too short and her bangs are too long and Johji isn't a blue haired wonder There were a few more pictures here a while back -

I like Miwa's styling, but again, her hair is wrong. These little nuances make ALL the difference in a fashion centered manga as well as aspects of their personalities. What next, no safety pin in Arashi's face? At least Isabella looks decent and there's no possible way to screw up Hiro, right?

IDK, I am being harsh, but maybe it will be ok? What do you guys think?
